To transport a dog into the UK from the EU, the dog must have a PETS passport or go through quarantine. These are complex and expensive procedures, requiring vaccinations (including against rabies), blood tests and other medical treatments. Justin’s Trust has experience of these systems and prepares all dogs under its care for travel in Europe through the PETS scheme. To read more about the PETS scheme and quarantine click here.

Justin’s Trust will:

• Fund and facilitate the provision of a PETS passport for dogs under its care.
• Provide guidance and support on the complexities of animal importation.
•  Provide sanctuary and support for the dog until a PETS passport is issued and a suitable home is found.
